Tamara Brenner, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who has enjoyed working with children and their families for over fifteen years. She is committed to offering families research based interventions, adhering to ‘best practices’ with warmth and humor. Areas of specialization include assessment and testing as well as individual and family counseling to strengthen family relationships, improve children’s peer relationships, reduce school and learning problems, and strengthen self-efficacy skills.
Her graduate work was completed at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and minor emphasis in neuropsychology. She interned at Child and Family Guidance in Northridge, California and completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Loma Linda University Graduate School with a rotation in pediatric rehabilitation. Tamara has taught as an adjunct faculty member at Riverside Community College, Concordia University, Irvine, and Argosy University in Orange County, California.
